A trip to Varanasi…

After completing 6 months of classroom training at supervisors training center at Jhansi, my first workshop training tour was scheduled to Varanasi ( benaras ). I am calling it a tour because trainees like me focus more on adventuring and sight seeing rather than on training. On Sunday Nov 11, 2018 I had to depart from jhansi through break journey at Kanpur to Varanasi. I was too much excited and my 5 colleagues too for this first trip. And then something happened…
One of these friends sent message about the berth status and after reading that, saliva of mouth vaporized… omg 10 hours long journey and none of our berths had been confirmed yet. Though little chances were there, as the chart hadn't been prepared till that time.
Somehow two out of six berths confirmed and we managed to travel.
Finally on Monday morning Nov12, 2018 sharp at 6:32 am in fresh breeze we step out our first feet on the benaras. And yes, the true feeling of bhagwaa came, the feeling of being blessed, the feeling of divinity started coming from inner soul to whole body.
And then our journey started...

L ive young...Travel free... “Oye… What did you tell? Travel free.” One of my school friend commented on whatsapp status, and I said yes. The whole all India tour was financed by Indian Railways as we were under training. On sunday night dated 18 Nov 2018. We came to Kapurthala, Punjab. We all were happy because we knew that the problem of fooding was not going to be there. On the way to Rail Coach Factory hostel from Kapurthala station at 10 pm, we had to make arrangement for dinner. An evening in Varanasi… I, with my 5 colleagues, stayed at DLW officer's rest house at bhullanpur, varanasi. As we were under training, hence our lodging was done by Indian Railways. The room fare for non trainees is also reasonable, only 100 INR per bed per day and if you are railway employee then you can book by FAX to Principal of Technical Training Centre, DLW, Varanasi. We had yummy cornflakes with cow milk. After that, we went for training in diesel electric loco shed. There was a lot of things to observe and a lot of things to learn and there was a great experience. At 2 o'clock in the afternoon something happened, 6 trainees lost their motions suddenly. And the in-charge senior section engineer had to relieve them for half day rest. Actually, the travelmania between them had awaken and they made the excuse, because they had to visit GANGA AARTI at Dashashwamedh Ghat in Ganga's bank. Who were these guys... Benaras Exploration…

What comes to your mind, when you think about benaras ? Do you think about pan or think about saree ? “If you are in benaras and haven't tasted benarasi pan, then your trip to benaras is of no use. If you are a female then you must be thinking about the benarasi saree . If you are divinic in nature then Kashi Vishwanath Temple of Lord shankar is one of the best place to visit you. The day after the ganga ghat visit, we had planned to visit the Vishwanath temple. It is one of the twelve jyotirling as of Lord Shiva. ( Till that time I'd visited only one jyotirlinga, while I was at college. Once I went to take the exam at Indore, then some of my friends planned to visit Ujjain , then I had Mahakaal darshan .
