“Oye… What did you tell? Travel free.” One of my school friend commented on whatsapp status, and I said yes. The whole all India tour was financed by Indian Railways as we were under training. After benaras, the tour was scheduled to the place where happiness lives, where even beggars don't sleep hungry, where people are hard working, where people care for others, where youngsters live in swag; yes, I am talking about Punjab. On sunday night dated 18 Nov 2018. We came to Kapurthala, Punjab. We all were happy because we knew that the problem of fooding was not going to be there. On the way to Rail Coach Factory hostel from Kapurthala station at 10 pm, we had to make arrangement for dinner. We ordered kadhai paneer, sahi paneer and dal makhani at one of the restaurant, named Ramneek vegetarian restaurant and the food met our expectations. The gravy of kadhai paneer and sahi paneer was delicious, the main thing was taste, gravy was different for both paneer dishes. We all grab the dinner like hungry dogs not because we were hungry but because after a long time we were having that much tasty food. The satisfaction in mind was there as our search for good food ended even before entering our rooms. Though we didn't order food from there again, as we found other options nearby our hostel. We went for training next morning and our training experience was also good. There were heavy machineries, automatic machineries, computer numerical control (CNC) plasma cutter. We can't stop ourselves without watching their working. Technicians were working hard unlike other workshops where they were goof off. CNC automatic machine grab the corten steel sheets by vacuum generation and put that nearby other sheet, then they are joined by automatic welding, after that with the help of CNC plasma cutter window shaped profle was cut. Everything was fully automatic, the operator fed the command once and then got relax, he was playing PUB G. After some time, siren rang and we moved to our hostel. On the way to our hostel there were a lot of greenery, the trees of eucalyptus, saagon were there in a queue on both side of road, it seemed they were welcoming us. Today's generation loves photography and they don't skip a location without having clicks so why we would skip.
On the road side there were dry leaves and the location was perfect for clicks.
One of the friend among us, named Jasdeep, was a fond of being photographed. And we clicked a slow motion clip of him in dry leaves under the shadow of those trees with light sunshine coming between the leaves and branches of trees. Those were nice moments, whenever I think of them it gives immense pleasure to me.

In the evening, we had to go for dinner nearby our hostel, it was 700 m approximately. On the way, there were trees all around except the main road. It was near dusk, the sky was growing darker and we were moving forward towards the mess with light music in earphones then Aditya gestured with finger towards the trees which was very far away, we paused the music and tried to see in the dark then Vipin said “Yes...Yes… see there, what a pleasant view is there”, Vivek said “wao… mind blowing”, I was still searching for the view that they were entertaining as I was not having specs at that time and I had myopia; but somehow I also managed to watch the glimpses of what they had seen. There were some four thiny legged animals in a herd having long branched horns, they were deers. We were excited, as we were having a safari view in our hostel campus. We tried to click some pictures of them, but it was dark then. Next afternoon while going for lunch, we again had a view of those deers crossing our road, but this time two black deers with them was also there.
I was too much excited as I love animals. I tried to click some pictures of them but again had disappointment. They ran away very fast as they observed us. Same day while returning to hostel, we had glimpses of some peacocks and peahens which were trying to fly and spreading their colourful wings upside. In the same way, three days had passed. We planned for a Trip to Shri Vaishno Devi Mata, Katra on Friday. There was a holiday on friday as there was Guru Nanak Jayanti and as we were at Punjab so one more holiday on saturday was there.
